Pleasure with a good view
Because of the beautiful view, Frederick William IV had "Belvedere on the Pfingstberg" built around 1850 according to his own plans. He got architectural ideas for this building during his journey to Rome in 1829. This is why numerous Roman buildings were the inspiration for this building. Thus, it is no surprise that one gets a feeling of Italy at a dizzy height! It is not only a breathtaking view that Belvedere offers its visitors but also the concerts that take place regularly in front of the castle.
