What about leaving the everyday routine behind you for once? Visit Babelsberg film park. Immerse yourself in the world of film and television in fantastic theme worlds. A colourful park landscape with captivating decorations and unique attractions invites you to a voyage of discovery from April to October. Everything to do with film has been staged here: backdrops, props, costumes and technical equipment from yesterday and today. In unique shows, stuntmen, pyrotechnicians and film animal trainers demonstrate their skills. Would you care for an excursion into the crater of a volcano or to the Orient? Would you like to be in the limelight as a weather fairy or a newsreader? Why not risk a flight on Baron Münchhausen’s cannonball? The world of illusions makes the impossible happen. Also the youngest are welcome. Children’s hearts beat faster in the house of Sandmann (the popular German puppet figure, who used to read the little ones a bedtime story on television), on the jungle playground and in Panama, the world of fantasy of the Janosch figures created by the famous German writer of children books of the same name. Additional events, such as the film park night, autograph-signing sessions by stars and starlets as well as evenings of medieval spectacles in the “Prinz Eisenherz” adventure restaurant are on the programme on many weekends and on public holidays.
