Potsdam's north and the New Garden Northwest of Potsdam’s city center, there is a broad green swathe of parks and small forests stretching along the shores of the Jungfernsee and the Havel River.

Hike up Potsdam’s highest hill – the Pfingstberg. You will be rewarded with a spectacular view of Potsdam, and on clear days you can even see Berlin’s downtown. At the end of the trail, you will find a Russian colony with an authentic restaurant.
