The magic "petit palace" is part of the UNESCO World Heritage and was built in 1842 as summer house for Crown Prince Frederick William. Its attraction is not exclusively owed to the palace's enchanting location on the banks of Lake Tiefer See. The parlours are aesthetically furnished, the garden terrace, open throughout the year, invites guests to take a break and enjoy the unhampered view of the sunset above the water. The couple that owns the restaurant places great emphasis on the selection of foods. Regional produce and organic ingredients are used to prepare everything from scratch such as the outstanding cakes and pies, all prepared according to the motto: "indulgence equals freshness and time".

Main meals include (for instance) pasture-raised lamb stew with herbed bread dumplings (19.80 EUR)
