Restaurant "Der Hammer"

Culinary respite in the Kutschstall's courtyard
The modern restaurant, located in the tastefully restored smithy of the former royal carriage and horse stables courtyard ensemble, proves ideal for a culinary stopover during a historic tour of Potsdam's city centre. Watch the chefs prepare fresh seasonal specials in the open kitchen, where regional produce is favoured, ranging from asparagus, freshwater fish to deer - everything you wish depending on the season. The all-year favourite include the crispy Alsatian tarte flambée (Flammkuchen), coffee and mouth-watering cakes and pies. Another family magnet is the Sunday brunch.
