On a museum tour in Potsdam
The building formerly used to accommodate the royal carriages and horses ("Kutschstall") in Potsdam´s historic centre, today’s House of the Brandenburg-Prussian History, provides a living forum for history and culture with its standing exhibition on 900 years of Brandenburg-Prussia. Adjacent to the museum stands Germany’s oldest “Filmmuseum“, to be found inside the former city palace royal stables known as “Marstall“. A standing exhibition on “Babelsberg - Faces of a Film Metropolis“ (“Babelsberg - Gesichter einer Filmstadt") takes visitors on a time travel through the history of the Babelsberg Film Studios.
