On two evenings in August, Sanssouci Park is transformed into a large stage during the Potsdam Palace Night. The 23rd Palace Night is all about life. "Viva!" is the motto of the Potsdam Palace Night. Prominent voices from the German film and television skillfully set texts from literary classics from the world of fantasy at stage. Magic at dizzy heights: the circus troupe "Flotados" will perform their breathtaking show of artistry, music and projection at a height of eight metres. The theater company "Companyia La Tal Carilló" remains on the ground, as do the mariachi bands that accompany the strollers in Sanssouci Park. Popular and informative themed tours through the park are also offered. As soon as it gets dark, the gardens and the palaces are wonderfully illuminated.
