Lyric Poetry. Writing, Language, Art - The Overcoming of Genre Boundaries in the Fluxus Movement
25.02.2023 15:00 - 25.02.2023 16:00As early as the 1920s, artists such as Hans Arp and Kurt Schwitters combined poetry and work. The Fluxus movement takes up this process anew and declares writing, poetry and language to be a means of design and a work of art at the same time. In this tour we will look at works by Emmett Williams, Mary Bauermeister and other Fluxus artists who play with the genre boundary of poetry and visual art and/or declare it obsolete. Tickets for these tours are available in the museum shop. Cost p.p. 2.00 euros, plus regular admission price.
