The Royal Vineyard invites you to the wine festival again. More than 250 years ago, Frederick the Great had a vineyard planted on the southern slope of the Klausberg. He provided the table at the Prussian court with excellent fruit and, above all, exquisite grapes. A Rhineland winegrower and soldier of the royal guard is said to have recommended this to the king. Vines are now thriving here again. To date, the gardeners at Mosaik-Berlin gGmbH have planted 200 fruit trees and more than 3,000 vines. The many sunny days have done the grapes good. The Riesling tastes fruity and is refreshingly cool. The red wine of the Regent variety has a pleasantly light cherry taste.
