The textile artist Juliane Rothenburg has her studio in the Dutch Quarter of Potsdam. The trained carpenter, restorer and dressmaker not only creates fashionable accessories, such as jewellery or hats, but also covers furniture and creates sculptures and outdoor installations. She uses different techniques in her work, such as painting, printing and also patchwork, and likes to work with silk. She creates unusual jewellery and shawl collars with extravagant clasps. By prior arrangement, everyone is welcome to watch over her shoulder as she works in her studio; additionally, she runs workshops on various topics.
