In order to make your stay in the Visitor Centre as pleasant as possible, Café Caroline invites you to a tasty stopover. Guests can sit both indoors and outdoors. There are soft drinks to quench thirst, snacks, ice cream, coffee and cake.
There are 25 indoor and 12 outdoor spaces available.

The former guardhouse, built by Carl von Gontard in 1768/69 for the New Palace, is part of the UNESCO World Heritage "Park Sanssouci". Together with the so-called Imperial Building Office, which was built 100 years later, it was converted into the Neues Palais Visitor Centre in 2013 and repaired in accordance with the requirements of monument protection.
